This booklet was written under obedience by a German priest who was an exorcist for over 30 years; from 1874 to his holy death in 1909. The booklet was begun after his first 25 years of experience.

These intrigues of Satan are not less active today then they were 30 years ago. Hence this treatise should interest people as much now as it did then.

The first chapter deals with possession in general and its characteristic marks. The second tells of certain confessions made by the demons. The third gives the confirmation from heaven of what the demons confessed to be true.
